Welcome to our FAQ page! Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions about our immigration services.

How do I get started?

Whether you are looking for full representation on your cacse or do-it-yourself immigration or visa services, the first step will be booking a consultation with a licensed immigration consultant. Our consultation fees vary from CA$135 to CA$299 based on the appointment category and duration.

Kindly note that there is no obligation to retain our services after the consultation.

How do I book a consultation?

Click “Book a consultation” and choose the category of the consultation that fits your needs: Study in Canada, PR Consultation, etc. You will see options for clients booking within Canada or outside Canada. Please select depending on your location.

You will be directed to the calendar with available dates. Click on your desired date and type of consultation. The type of consultation might be available on a different date. Select your time zone (e.g., Toronto) and choose the suitable time slot.

Read the Terms & Conditions, provide your contact information, click that you agree to the terms and conditions. Click “Book Now

Choose the mode of payment: by bank card or PayPal. Complete the payment.

Once paid, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to our virtual consultation call.

What time zone do the consultations take place in?

Our company is located in Toronto, Canada. However the system will ask for your time zone for your convenience and show you the equivalent local time. Once you select your city, the calendar will show the time in your selected time zone.

If there is a suitable time on the calendar, choose it. After payment, the time slot will become unavailable to other clients.

Is my bank card accepted by Canada?

Our company works with any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian issued credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover or UnionPay International logo, as well as Interac Debit cards.

We are not able to accept payments from debit or credit cards issued by banks in countries sanctioned by the Government of Canada (Russia, Crimea Region, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.)

In what currency should I pay for the consultation?

Since we are a Canadian company, we only accept payments in Canadian dollars at the set amount of your type of consultation.

However, your bank card can charge you in a different currency (i.e. USD, Euros) according to their policy. The payment will go through as long as your bank card allows payments in foreign currency. 

Can I cancel the consultation?

Yes, according to the terms and conditions you agree before you pay, you can cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the appointment by email. 

Appointments that are cancelled and/or rescheduled with less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded. 

In case of an emergency or if you need to cancel your appointment, please immediately contact us at info@cmimmigration.ca and let us know the details in the email. 

Can I reschedule my appointment?

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the appointment by email.

Appointments that are cancelled and/or rescheduled with less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded. 

What if I am late for the consultation?

The consultant will wait for 15 minutes from the agreed time. 

Clients who are more than 15 minutes late for their appointment will be considered as “no-show,” and the appointment will be cancelled. No refund nor reschedule options will be provided. 

Unused time will not be credited to the client if late. 

What is the process of the consultation?

All consultations are held virtually via Google Meet call. The link to join the meeting is provided with the consultation booking confirmation. The link opens with a browser if using a laptop or computer. The Google Meet app can be installed on your phone or tablet. 

Ensure in advance that your camera, microphone, and speaker, as well as your Internet connection, are working correctly. 

What can I prepare in advance for the consultation?

After booking a consultation, you are asked to fill out a form. Please fill out the form fully and provide only genuine and truthful information. 

It helps to list your questions or topics for discussion in advance. Input all information you deem necessary to provide for getting the Immigration Consultant familiar with your case. 

Please be prepared to take notes. Recording of the consultation is not authorized. 

What is your area of expertise?

RCIC Albina Kuramshina’s specialty is in Permanent Residency pathways for skilled professionals and recent graduates, and Study Permit applications.

Our expertise is in provincial immigration programs and extensive immigration pathways strategies and analysis for individuals, couples, and families looking to use Economic immigration pathways to Canada. 

Our company specifically works with Study Permits strategy and applications, Express Entry’s Federal Skilled Worker program, Express Entry’s Canadian Experience Class, Atlantic Immigration program. PNP streams: only with Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia PNP. 

RCIC Albina Kuramshina provides consultations to special-category customers depending on the current special-measures program availability, (i.e. CUAET, Pathway to PR for Ukrainians, and Israeli nationals or Palestinian passport holders) 

Do you help with the Humanitarian & Compassionate grounds applications?

We do provide representation for some H&C applications. Please feel free to email us at info@cmimmigration.ca for more information. 

Do you help with the refugee program?

No, our company does not deal with refugee programs. Please feel free to email us at info@cmimmigration.ca for referrals to specialists in this field. 

Do you consult on immigration to Quebec? 

The province of Quebec has its own immigration programs. Unfortunately, we do not have any consultations for Quebec currently. Please feel free to email us at info@cmimmigration.ca for referrals to specialists in this field. 

How can I ask follow-up questions? 

All questions are to be answered during the scheduled consultation. Follow-up questions are to be discussed during a new booking with RCIC Albina Kuramshina. 

Be attentive for a personalized discount in the email after the consultation is complete. 

What is the difference between PR Consultation within Canada and PR Consultation from outside Canada? 

The consultation category is the same; however, PR Consultation within Canada includes a tax. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a tax that you pay on most goods and services sold or provided in Canada. It is important to choose according to your location.
